Attractions in the British Virgin Islands
If you’re sailing in Tortola, we thoroughly recommend a trip to Apple Bay or Brewers Bay. Spend at least a day or two in Road Town and visit the Folklore Museum and the J.R. O’Neal Botanical Garden after strolling the colourful streets of this beautiful town. Peter Island is the perfect place for an afternoon diving or a wander in one of the three National Parks in this part of the archipelago.

Climate in the British Virgin Islands
These blissful islands experience pleasant temperatures all year. In January, temperatures are warm, ranging from between 20ºC and 26ºC. In August, temperatures are much warmer, starting at 23ºC and peaking 30ºC.
The rainy season is from August to December and the dry season is from January to April. Water temperatures are fantastic around the seasonal clock, fluctuating between 26ºC and 28ºC.
How to Get to the British Virgin Islands
Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS) on Beef Island (connected to Tortola) is the best option for those flying to the BVI. There are a few smaller airports based on other islands such as Virgin Gorda, and Anegada.
